(36 hours)
Track 2: certification for Bachelor's degree holders
Teacher certification for Bachelor's degree holders with a certifiable major (Biological Science, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Physics, Social Studies), who have little education background and the desire to become certified for Secondary Grades 8-12. (38 hours)
Either of these certifications can also be extended to include Middle Grades 5-9 in English/Communications, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies. In addition, students can enter either of the two tracks to work toward certification in Art, Music, French, German, Spanish; a Bachelor's degree with a major in the appropriate discipline is required for program entry.
