Endorsement Programs
An endorsement is an area of special qualification added to one's base
certificate. Certified teachers earning the regular M.A. may elect to earn one
endorsement as part of the program.
Endorsements Offered:
English as a Second Language
Qualifies a person to work in resource and other settings with students whose primary language is not English.
Gifted & Talented
An endorsement required for those working with gifted students for over half a day or in self-contained situations.
Instructional Technology
Enhances a teacher's ability to use technology in instruction but also to direct and coordinate the technology resources of a school.
